Wedge Gate Valves

Curtiss-Wright has partnered with Ringo Valves to provide the US nuclear power market with gate valves. Located in Zaragoza, Spain, Ringo valves has designed and manufactured their cast and forged valves for over 30 years. Their high QA standards, including ANSI and ASME, make them an international leader in the valve industry, and Ringo prides itself on providing only the highest level of valve technology. Available in a variety of sizes, valve types, and materials, Ringo valves provide a wide range of solutions to any problem.

Using a wedge to mitigate flow, Wedge Gate Valves utilize upstream pressure to push a wedge piece against the downstream seat, creating a seal. Curtiss-Wright provides Ringo's Solid Wedge, Flexible Wedge, and Split Wedge designs for nuclear applications.

Parallel Gate Valves

Curtiss-Wright has partnered with Ringo Valves to provide the US nuclear power market with gate valves. Located in Zaragoza, Spain, Ringo valves has designed and manufactured their cast and forged valves for over 30 years in nuclear applications. Their high QA standards, including ANSI and ASME, make them an international leader in the valve industry, and Ringo prides itself on only providing only the highest level of valve technology. Available in a variety of sizes, valve types, and materials, Ringo valves provide a wide range of solutions to any problem.

Ideal for applications with large temperature variations or that require fast shut off, Parallel Gate Valves are designed with parallel seats, allowing the disc to have no contact with the seats until the end of the valve stroke. Curtiss-Wright provides Ringo's Slide, Through Conduit, and Double Expanding Parallel Gate designs for nuclear applications such as Main Steam and Main Feedwater Isolation.
