Turbine Crossover Flange Gasket

Problem

A spiral wound gasket used on the turbine crossover flange buckled creating foreign material in the turbine. This foreign material could potentially damage turbine blades.

Solution

Gasket was replaced with a Kammprofile design which isn’t susceptible to buckling.
