Gasket Leaks on Lube Oil Skids
Problem
Original specified fiber gaskets do not provide reliable sealing on lube oil skid flanges. B-8 stud materials in 150# class slip on flanges provide little stress (load) to the gasket.
Solution
Convert to newer generation gasket materials that seal oil without weeping. Use low stress gaskets in standard flanges such as a Flexpro gasket with PTFE facing or a Gore Powergrade gasket.
