Fisher Valves on Heater Level Control and Feedwater Regulating Valve Packing
Problem
The use of graphite packing in Fisher heater level control valves and feedwater regulating valves can cause “sticktion” during valve stem cycling leading to valve performance issues.
Solution
Lower packing friction with no “sticktion” can be achieved without sacrificing packing performance by moving from a graphite packing system to Style 5718 ePTFE jackted seal rings with Style 5000 end rings.
