Coupling Gaskets on Coal Piping

Problem

Existing Neoprene coupling gaskets on coal piping at a power plant were hardening and failing in service.

Solution

AP Services replaced material and updated it to silicone material. An oil port was drilled and installed into the coupling to lubricate the gasket in service.
