BREA, CA – June 15, 2023 – Curtiss-Wright’s Nuclear Division announced today that it will expand its presence in Canada with a new and larger office in Newmarket, Ontario to better support the Canadian nuclear market. The facility will act as the company’s primary Nuclear-focused facility in Canada, serving the country’s fleet of utilities, as well as nuclear OEMs and A&E firms.

Located at 450 Harry Walker Parkway South, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada L3Y 8E3, Curtiss-Wright’s new location features a fully equipped qualification center that supports seismic qualification, commercial grade dedication, equipment qualification, and project management services. The facility is certified by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) to CSA N285 and CSA B51 for fabrication of welded and non-welded components, as well as the construction of pumps.

Curtiss-Wright’s new facility satisfies the quality standards set forth by the Canadian nuclear industry. Its quality assurance program has been NUPIC-audited, meeting both CSA N299.1-2016 and 10CFR50 Appendix B requirements for Canada and the United States. Seismic testing and seismic analysis are consistent with the requirements of the CSA N289 series, the IEEE 344 standard, and the IEEE 323 standard.
