BREA, CA ­­ – July 30, 2021 Curtiss-Wright’s Nuclear Division announced today that it has signed an exclusive sales agreement with BIF, a subsidiary of Logan Machine Company. Per the agreement, Curtiss-Wright will act as BIF’s sole sales channel to the global commercial nuclear market for the full portfolio of BIF products, including the Universal Venturi Tube – a high-accuracy, precision-manufactured flow meter designed for harsh environment process conditions.

Based in Akron, Ohio, BIF has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of specialized valves and instrumentation, including butterfly valves, venturi flow meters, and ASME nozzles. BIF products have been installed in main steam and feedwater systems since the commissioning of the U.S. commercial nuclear fleet in the 1960s and 70s.

Curtiss-Wright will utilize its robust Nuclear Quality Assurance Program to support Commercial Grade, Safety-Related, and ASME Section III applications of the BIF product portfolio.
